We're Dave and Tasha, and we run Scotties Marina on the Lower Arrow Lake, 12 km up Broadwater Road from the Robson exit. We live next door, and Dexter, our golden retriever, runs the dock tours. The dock has 91 octane non-ethanol fuel all year, plus propane, bait, tackle, ice and a new liquor store. Rent kayaks and paddleboards by the hour from April to mid-October, or one of our two boats. Moorage goes by the night, week, month or year, and Dave winterizes boats. Stay in our floating cabin, which sleeps four, or at one of nine lakeside campsites. Fish for rainbow trout, kokanee and Dolly Varden, and join our winter derby from November 15 to March 15. In summer we're open every day, 9 am to 7 pm. To book, call the store.

You should not have to take my word for it.
So nearly every listing names the public page I found it on, and the day I last saw it there. Most often that is the business's own website, then a chamber of commerce directory, then a town's business licence list. You can go and look at the same page I did. The other 20 came straight from their owners, and their listings say so.

I built the List because the best businesses in these mountains were the hardest ones to find. Everyone here gets the same deal. Each business gets a free page, written in its own words. If you make something good in the Kootenays, people should be able to find you.
