Where to find them

Most of the region's excavation & septic are in Cranbrook, Castlegar and Nelson. In all, they are in 16 towns. About half have their own website. For the rest, the phone number is the best way in.

Septic and dirt work runs on the seasons. Frozen ground and spring runoff decide the schedule as much as you do. Book early and expect a wait in the busy months.
