Where to find them

Most of the region's gyms & fitness are in Castlegar, Cranbrook and Fernie. In all, they are in 19 towns. Most of them have their own website, and the links below take you straight there.

Gyms here run from a room with a key code and some weights to full studios with a class schedule. This page has both kinds. Walk in and look around before you sign anything. The real question is whether you will drive there in the dark in midwinter. Only you can answer that. Schedules change with the season, so confirm your first class before you go.
